Liberty Fabric Inspired
I have always had an enduring love for Liberty fabrics and the prints that Liberty design. The designs are used within the vintage inspired dresses and tops collections, each with their unique hand-drawn intricate designs and beautiful depth of colour. It is Impossible to choose a favourite, but amongst them is Archive Lilac, with it’s life-like, hand-drawn blousy lilac flowers strewn across the fabric.
Heritage inspired
The Liberty archive is a vast and never-ending collection of heritage prints, telling a tale of inspired design through the decades.
Sustainable Qualities
Tana lawn fabric upon which the designs are printed is a beautiful premium fabric to work with and to wear. It has a silky, soft feel and drape which is unique to Liberty, with the added benefit of being Oeko-Tex certified, and free from harmful chemicals.
Statement Style
The scale of the Archive Lilac print worked perfectly when we designed the Adele Shirt Dress, making a statement in a wearable, under-stated way. The addition of a tie belt to cinch in at the waist and pretty frill detail around the hem lends a touch of femininity to this utility style. The beautifully rich blue colourway makes the stunning print stand out perfectly.
We will be exploring more Liberty print designs from the collection in future blogs and would love you to join us x
